Purple Rain is an Indica strain with deep purple buds and a pleasant berry scent. It has a 24 percent THC level and is used for treating pain and stimulating hunger. Although not a strong relaxant, it provides relief for chronic pain and weight gain. The buzz length is short, lasting only an hour before fading.
